Dylan Badin, MD

Dr. Dylan Badin is a current Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology Fellow at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, California, where he is under the tutelage of Dr. Hugh Greenway who trained with the founder of Mohs surgery, Frederick Mohs himself. He completed his dermatology residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Badin earned his medical degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. After completing his medical training in New Hampshire, he is eager to return and provide healthcare to the local community.  

His clinical and research interests focus on cutaneous oncology, melanoma outcomes, and surgical innovation in Mohs micrographic surgery. Additionally, he is experienced in cosmetic dermatology having also trained with Dr. Victor Ross, a leader in the field of laser dermatology.  

His work has been presented nationally at the American Academy of Dermatology, the Society for Investigative Dermatology, and the American College of Mohs Surgery. Dr. Badin’s work has been published in journals including JAAD, Journal of Cutaneous Pathology, and Dermatologic Surgery.  

Outside of medicine, Dr. Badin is an avid competitive golfer, tennis player, and lifelong water sports enthusiast.
